Around Athens, good coaches book up before each season, so ask about waiting lists and package rates rather than single lessons. Group clinics are the cheapest way for an adult beginner to get regular court time and a set of practice partners, and many programs across Georgia sort players by NTRP level so matches stay competitive. League sign-ups happen a few weeks before each season through a club or a local USTA captain. Camps and junior academies usually require a short evaluation first; ask about scholarship or sliding-scale spots, which many non-profit tennis associations offer.

Used to love the pool and steam room but lack of cleanliness and adequate supervision and rule enforcement in locker rooms drove me away. Not very clean and outdated facilities.

Not very pleased. I actually signed up online about 2 months before going in person. My family had every intention on staying long term. However, we finally went and did a walkthrough one time. We were there for less than an hour spending about 20 minutes on a walk around of the facility. In all honesty, I was LESS than pleased. I was honestly kind of shocked how dirty, smelly, and gross it was. It is so out of date. The lockers look like they are about 50 years old. And the downstairs..... the mat room was absolutely HORENDOUS. My husband and son were there and walked in behind the man first showing us around. I stepped one foot inside and STOPPED! It smelled so horrible, I had to step out. While the man explained the room for about 2 minutes to my husband, I had to step outside and pretend to look down the hallway to not seem rude. After all this, we never went back. They can clearly see where I had the account for 3 months, and the only time we were there (for less than an hour) was the day of the walkthrough. I called to ask about a refund for even just the last month and was denied - but I did not explain the situation because I didnt want to be negative and rude, but it was

My wife and I have been members here for almost a year. It's convenient for us since it's so close to where we live. First, the bad things about it. The facility is on obviously very old: paint is peeling off the walls and ceilings, and the place is very drab and dusty. Also, the hours are annoying at times: they close at 9PM on the weekdays, at 5PM on Saturdays, and are closed on Sundays, which is annoying. Now, the good things. The pools are nice and are usually not too busy (except during times dedicated to swim lessons). The place is overall never too busy except for maybe the basketball courts. They have all the equipment I care to use. They also have a racquetball room that I like to use.

To start Me and my family were ymca members for years in Virginia and used many different ymca’s. I moved my family back to my home town a year or so ago and we moved our membership here. This place has been the worst and least kept y I have ever been to. Literally. You can never use the facilities when you need or want to due to a camp or program or some other thing then just being a member. Our kids are hardly ever allowed to swim other than at the indoor pool and you can’t even go on a Sunday as they aren’t open. To add insult to injury took our kids swimming today and one of the camp kids picked up my kids goggles when walking through the indoor pool area and when my wife tried to talk to someone they didn’t stop. She had to describe the goggles to four different employees. They said they’d look and call us. When my wife asked if she could describe the boy who picked them up and they could ask him before they left they looked at my wife and kids and said we aren’t letting you in the kids dressing room to look for goggles In what world does trying to describe a camper who took our goggles to get them back us asking to go into a kids locker room? When I asked the director if

Thank you to Tammy for making us feel welcome! I drove for hours to find a pool for my children and she was very pleasant with making sure we could come to this location at any time (showing proof of family membership of course)! Will come back!
